The HT Group is partnering with an established Austin company to find their next stellar inside sales representative. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for selling integrated information management systems, tracking technology and logistics performance services that provide customized in-transit solutions for real-time visibility.

Inside Sales Account Manager

North Austin

Direct Hire

$45k + Commission

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall account management and growth of existing accounts assigned to inside sales territory
  • Create new sales opportunities through designated inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Follow up on all leads and revenue opportunities
  • Responsible for general market research of accounts to identify key players and generate interest
  • Responsible for prospecting companies needing our service offerings within the Consumer & Industrial market
  • Close sales and achieve monthly / quarterly / annual quotas and metrics
  • Develop a solid understanding of customer needs and requirements and collaboratively share this information with Business Development and Sales
  • Responsible for obtaining market knowledge and research of past accounts that have not reordered
  • An estimated 10% of travel may be required
  • Document all account and opportunity activity in CRM
  • Other tasks may be assigned and required

Requirements

  • BS in Logistics and/or business
  • 3-5 years previous experience selling wireless technology, software, or services to the Cold Chain & Industrial markets.
  • Experience in working with logistics, security and/or cold chain strongly preferred.
  • Must have the ability to develop a strategic plan for the defined territory and the tactical action skills to exceed the financial goals of the territory.
  • Perform effective online demos and web-presentations to prospects and customers
  • Strong phone presence and experience supporting customers remotely
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
