Awesome opportunity to work as the Application Technical Support Engineer for this really well known fast growing global company. You will be the first point of contact for their customers. These Application Support contractors will be required to identify the root cause of customer issues, triage their problems, and verify bugs. Be responsible for providing their legendary customer service through professional written and verbal communication with customers in various types of roles. As an Application Technical Support Engineer you are truly motivated by customer success in building the next great thing with their products.

This not a call center job, it is a Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk role, we are looking for strong troubleshooting methodologies, Support Techs who are very technical, self-motivated and pro-active. Handling 25-30 high level tickets a day- JIRA bug tracking, LAMP, MySQL, Apache Tomcat, logs and Java heap dumps. You will be screened on technical acumen around SSL, Linux and database queries / high level of database understanding. Customer service is the focus of this role, if you don't enjoy talking to people this job is NOT for you…customers come first without them they would be doomed.

Experience that we will be looking for on your resume:

  • 2-5 yrs. experience in technical support working with Java/J2EE based applications or similar.
  • Deep understanding of operating systems (Linux, OS X, and/or Windows)
  • Familiarity with databases and relevant languages (e.g., SQL)
  • Strong foundation of basic network functions, standards, and protocols
  • Experience working with Atlassian products BIG PLUS!
