Customer Service (Logistics)

North Austin

$14/hour

*Potential for pay increase at 90 day, 6 months, and 1 year depending on performance

1st shift 6am- 2pm

2nd shift 2pm- 10pm

Training Schedule:

M - F 7am- 3pm

Responsibilities:

  • Answer 40-65 in-bound calls from internal and external customers
  • Assist customers with requests and/or problems in a polite and courteous manner
  • Process web and e-mail inquiries
  • Data entry
  • Complete tasks from management in a timely manner
  • Track freight and logistics
  • This position will involve: dispatching delivery drivers, printing schedules, computer skills, answering phones, customer service with clients and drivers, etc.

Requirements:

  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must type a minimum of 45 WPM- Qualified candidates will be tested on skills
  • Strong computer skills required (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Word and Excel testing must pass 80%, typing must exceed 45 WPM
  • Ability to multi-task and handle three computer monitors
  • Strong Customer Service experience
  • 1-2 years of dispatch or transportation experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREEN UPON HIRE
